Bantay Bata 163 (BB 163) is the child protection program of the ABS CBN Foundation. It started in 1997 on Valentines Day as our gift of love to the Filipino children. What began as a hot-line and rescue operation has evolved into a truly holistic system which includes therapy, after care and preventive programs.

It hopes to break the cycle of hopelessness in the lives of disadvantaged children by providing shelter and food, health care and counseling and introducing them to education. The image of homeless, hopeless people who work and live on the streets is a familiar sight. Forced on the street by spirit – destroying poverty and family dysfunction – the ones who suffer the most are the children.

The Holy Family Home Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization managed by the Congregation of the Capuchin Tertiary Sisters of the Holy Family, a Congregation with Franciscan Amigonian Spirituality. Holy Family Home provides long-term residential care, protection, and rehabilitation for over 30 abandoned, neglected, orphaned, and physically abused girls. The foundation aims to give the girls under its care with complete service that caters to the personal, emotional, and spiritual needs of each child. The foundation measures its success with its ability to mold the girls residing in the home into socially functioning individuals.
